I'm looking to buy a couple suits and shirts and saw these guys online

Anyone have any info on these guys or other places. prices are good and if the fit would be great i'd be stoked.

went to Thailand for a suit. I like it except I realized too late that it was missing the lapel pin hole.

I've heard more about Raja Fashions - they've been written up in more American publications as well. I always miss them by a week when I visit NYC. bastards.

Raja's is very popular, as Jim Thompson's house (I think that's the name). I think I also read somewhere that the Chinese trained tailors are better than the other ones, but I don't know how you would be able to tell other than if the person is Chinese.

Don't go to Mr. Tommy's (it's in some mall). I bought a suit there, and to compound the problem, I was in a rush. I didn't like the suit and it didn't fit very well.

Tips:

At least 5 fittings (which might mean at least 5 days there).
Bargain bargain bargain

I wouldn't trust most of those foreign traveling tailors unless you get to meet in person to make sure you get what you requested. I've used MyTailor.com a few times, which was pretty good overall. Plan on sending a suit back 2-3 times for alterations before it is correct. Other than that, you can usually get high quality, custom tailored clothing for a lot less than anything available here in the US.
