Custom coolers for GTX 690s?

When will custom coolers for GTX 690s be available to hopefully get the noise down on them? My limit is about 50db under load, and the GTX 690 hits 55. Or will the custom coolers be designed to push the GTX 690 as opposed to getting the noise down?

Unless there's a generic cooler that will fit it, I don't think you'll see one. Not unless they become available enough for them to sell enough to make a profit.

Besides, it seems to be pretty quiet. Keep in mind no 2 sites seem to measure noise the same way. Some sites put the mic ~1inch from the back of the card. Others measure at 1mtr. According to TPU the 690 is not loud. It's 1db quieter than the 680. Do you have a 690?

Buy a pair of 670s instead. The 690 isn't worth the money
