CUSL2 vs. CUSL2-C

Hi,

I'd like to wait for the MSI 815EP Pro-R but i don't think i'll have enough time. I was looking at the ASUS boards and i see that the CUSL2-C is a newer board and its cheaper then the older model. Not that i'm complaining, but why is the -C cheaper?? shouldn't it be more expensive???

The c version is the cheap, cut down version.. No onboard video or sound and no AGP PRO slot, fewer USB facilities and cant use the full functionality of IPanel if you so desire..thats why its cheaper

If you are a gamer, go with the "C" model as you are going to add your own video card anyway. On the other hand, your can use the onboard video and have an inexpensive dual monitor setup to play with and still smoke on the gamming scene. Myself, I prefer the "C" model as the Intel chipset (video) has some strange artifacts under Win2k. As for the audio, it is available on either board, just depends on whose board you buy.
