CUSL2 users - MBM5 vs. Asus PC Probe v2.12.02 - they're the same right?

Anyway, I have them both running right now. MBM5 PB 2.4 and the Asus PC Probe v2.12.02 have the same readings. CPU temps and everything else correlate with each other.

What I really wanted to know is: what did MBM 4.18 report? I think it's a 20C difference at the low temperatures and 16C at the high temps? Anyone have MBM 4.18 and PC Probe running at the same time will be able to answer this.

as long as you select the CUSL2 setting on mbm5, it'll work fine. I haven't had hte chance to try the new pcprobe, so I won't comment on that(yet).

I am still using the old PC Probe. Is the update on Asus' web site? What do you guys think is a good/safe temperature range for a 1 GHz CPU (700E o/c @ 1.65 V <-- Default Voltage)? I am using the retail HSF and if I need a new fan, I'd like to get the Agilent Arctic Cooler (If it ever comes out).

han888, both of your temps are wrong.

the 1001.a bios fixes nothing, contrary to popular belief. The 1002 bios' do fix temp problems, though.
