I've been using CUSL2 and I loved it. My friend need to bulid a system so I gave her my cusl2.
Now i need a new mobo for my P3 700@1gig coppermine.
I have no plan what so ever to buy Tulatin, my next cpu will not be another p3.
So, having said that should I pay extra $15~20 for TUSL2?
Or get another cusl2?
(no onboard sound/or video)
what's the difference between those two?
or are they just basically same except TUSL2 supports tulantin

thanks

I'd say get the TUSL2

Same thing as the CUSL2, but with the B-step chipset for Tully support..
Now granted you have no real reason to get the expensive as heck 1.13, 1.2, 1.26 p3s, but The TUSL2 give you the .13 micro Celly option. (1.2-1.6?)

And those 1.2 cellys have been seen hitting 1.4-1.5 with no sweat.

Note, the new celly also has the same size cache as the p3 coppermine, and the preformance, from what i heard, is Clock for Clock identical performance wise

EDIT: and its 115 bucks for the 1.2 celly too. compared to 380 for the 1.26 512k model.

In addition to Tualatin support, the TUSL2 also has an onboard Promise ATA100 Controller.
