Essence Computer in NYC has it for 128.. this is my roommate's friends store.. won't even give me discount... decent reseller ratings but I thought it would be 20 less then CUSL2 so I'll only pay around 115 for one... I think he imports these so they're not really asus imports..

Essential Comp. is selling the CUSL2-C for $148 + shipping. That's $9.00 MORE than he's charging for the CUSL2 board!!! Is this an error?? :Q
 
I gotta mention this.. this guy "essencom" sold me a cuv4x ADVERTISED as NO onboard sound... and when it came it had sound.. he would not make good on it whatsover and my only option was to send the board back for a refund.. he's a real turd in my opinion as i had screens of the advertisement of the board.."which he changed two days later to reflect the board with onboard sound" i paid shipping both ways and waited two weeks longer to finish the system i was working on.. really crappy business practice. if you buy ANYTHING from this guy make sure of what your getting.. !
 
Won't give me a discount = turd as well, jacking up price for mobo that should be less = turd.. the dude that runs the place is like 23 or something... u know those guys, out for money
 
Yes -when I first went to Essence site, they had it priced at $128,-when I went back to buy less than 24hrs later, he had changed it to $148.- I am glad he did that-I had assembled a P.O. for 4 systems-and when his style of business reared its ugly head, I placed the order elsewhere-(I used CUSL2, why pay more for less). Too bad, I was exited about finding the site. Another, short sighted business decision.-Oh well, I am sure he will benefit greatly by tacking on that $20-and surely won't miss our business. I'll just wait till the reputable vendors get it before I spec it.

Taiwanese people order from taiwan friends, I think he's getting his buddy to get them from taiwan directly bypassing asus.... I told my sister to pick one up for me from taiwan... she'll be back friday.. 🙂
 
Last year, I went this guy's store (actually his house in Queens, NY), called him in front of his house to buy a 8GB WD Hard drive, and he refused sell it to me. Why? Because he couldn't make $10 from shipping charge. How stupi* business attitude he had, and still having.

 
I wish I knew, she doesn't log into aol im and I can't even tell if she got mine. I gave her pictures and stuff and hopefully she'll even know what to ask for.
 
Yeah I updated that link in the original message in the morning..

funny thing was at computer stop they have a email option, i link that and email the guy at essencomp and guess what, his price is now 128.. he knows he's a scambag trying to rip people off for that..
