CUSL2-C and 256 ECC Ram

I have a cusl2-c mobo and a 256 meg stick of Micron ECC ram. I can only get it to post to 128 megs. I seem to recall there was something about ECC ram that only allowed Mobo recognized half the stick. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

That's right. The i815E/P chipset does not support ECC SDRAM, and in the case of the ASUS CUSL2 family, will only recognise half the amount of RAM on the DIMM. If you wanted all 256MB of RAM, you will need a new DIMM.
