CUSL2 BIOS/jumper question

recently i have been pushing my CPU to the limits just to see how far it will go. i have been raising the Vcore when neccessary to achieve system stability. but recently i stumbled across the "I/O voltage." most of you already know that this supplies the voltage to the chipset, DRAM, AGP, and PCI buses. i have also heard that this voltage setting can also be raised to help with stability issues when OCing. my question is can the I/O voltage setting be adjusted through the CUSL2 BIOS, or must it be done using the jumpers on the mobo? i am running BIOS version 1005 beta 6, and i cant seem to find an I/O voltage setting in the BIOS. is it there and am i just missing it, or can it only be done using the jumpers on the board? thanks, Eric.

I/O voltage is set with a jumper on the motherboard. The default requirements for I/O is 3.3 volts. ASUS already gives it more juice than normal by shipping boards set to 3.5 volts. The only other setting available is 3.6 volts; it is unlikely that you will need it.

I/O voltage is supplied to the PCI slots, AGP and RAM.

actually my CUSL2 manual says that the three settings are 3.3v, 3.4v, and 3.6v, 3.4v being the default voltage that the board is set unless you change the jumper. so i guess changing it to 3.6v probably wont do anything for me then? maybe i'll try it when i'm not too lazy to open the case and switch the jumper. i figure anything is worth a try just to see how high i can OC.

Ugh....sorry about the numbers....pallbark...:p

yeah....you probably wouldn't benefit from raising the voltage to 3.6 volts.
