CUSL2 and DDR RAM

The i815E chipset does not support DDR SDRAM.

For that matter, you wouldn't be able to plug in DDR SDRAM onto the CUSL2. DDR SDRAM comes on 184 pin DIMMs....normal DIMMs are 168 pin.

thanks

another question... would it be beneficial to run my CUSL2 with with 2x256MB PC100 RAM over 128MB of PC150 HSDRAM or 2x128MB PC150 Kingmax RAM? I currently have 128MB of the HSDRAM with Win2000. I was thinking of getting 2 of the 128MB Kingmax PC150 RAM, but would it be better having the 512MB total of RAM eventhough it is only at 100MHz?

More RAM is always good under Win2K, but there's no point unless you are really going to fill it up, ie run lots of very RAM hungry programs at once.

I would personally go for the 256MB KingMax RAM....it has more opportunities for overclocking. Depending on what you do, 256MB of RAM should be enough.
