Curves: Women Only Gym...

I'm bored, discuss....and vote.

I see no reason a company can ban men from their business. If tried to open a Gym for MEN only I'd have every Women's group there in a week trying to shut me down.

Thoughts?

I don't know about you, but half the motivation of going to the gym for me is seeing the hotties on the machines when I'm on the cardio bike.. keep it co-ed for me.

Exactly......I just think it's BS that this company basically discriminate's against MEN.....

If it was the other way around, I'm pretty sure we'd be shutdown in a week.

Which is why there's a women-only gym in the first place😛

I prefer male only gyms just because i feel i spend more time starring at the girls then working out. Then i feel self concious about the small weights i do in front of chicks 🙁

Cuts Fitness has been open longer than a week.

there are plenty of gay venues - bars, clubs, sex venues 🙂 - that are men only

There are male only version... there's a small one up by where i live, i forget the name, but their logo is like one of those iron crosses (like the guy that runs Monster Garages).

I'm sure you can get away with it if you really have a good reason, but you'll be crazy to. Guys do not stay away from a gym because there are women there.. in fact, they'll probably go to gyms with lots of women! But women do stay away from gyms where there are lots of men.

There's another one where i work... like 2 blocks down... i'll get the name of it tomorrow.

EDIT: I got the names... Hard Knox and 20mins a Day's Men's or something like that.

Oh, man, I didn't read the question. I thought the poll was whether we should start a men's only gym called "guts" and I voted yes...

Funny how the OP was thoroughly owned, yet no one says so.

BTW, Curves and Cuts are some of the most useless gyms I have ever seen.
