Curved TV-like and dislikes

Can yall tell me what you like and dislike about curved tv's. Thank you.

There's really no technical benefit to it is all. It's just for looks.

I currently have a curved TV...only bought it because I got a great deal on it - I honestly can't tell a difference and wouldn't buy (or not buy) based on if it's curved.

More a gimmick than anything. It makes sense for a monitor because you're sitting so close but for a tv you're generally far enough away to see the whole screen comfortably. It's useless if you have other viewers in the room too.
