Curved Shower Rods are teh bomb!

Just put in a new curtain rod. I thought it would just help keep me from leaning into the shower curtain, but it really opens up the space and lets me stretch my elbows out when washing my hair.

I can only imagine what my wife is going to say when she notices that I installed it. 😀 (she's been in the bathroom 3 times since she got home from work and hasn't noticed yet) 😀

Since I pretty much live in hotels during the week and they all have the curved rods I got one for both of my bathrooms last year, they definitely rock. Typically $35-40, takes 15 minutes to install, worked with your existing curtain. Money well spent IMHO.

I wonder how long it took people to figure out that invention. I love cheap little things like that that add to your home 🙂

I picked mine up at Lowe's for $40. Was quite easy to install for a total non-toolhandy guy like me. Hardest part was cutting an extra 1.5" off of the total pipe length due to the shower being a bit shorter than standard.

Used one for the first time this weekend at a motel and loved it. It makes a significant difference in how much elbow room you have. Just a much more roomy feel.

Got ours 6 months ago at Lowes and was $30 also got a ceiling fan for the bedroom and needed a brace kit which was $5. Today needed another brace kit and it was $7.95.

Inflation is going to rape this Country big time again.

Yeah, a few of the hotels that I've stayed in recently had curved shower rods...definitely a nice feature, especially when space is so limited.

I hate when I'm showering, and the draft created by the steam causes the curtain to "blow" towards me and touch me. I always have to stand away from the curtain to avoid this...

EDIT: I'm not sure if it's a draft or pressure differential. Either way, it's gross.
