Curve fitting program (free)?

Hey, I was looking for some sort of free little script for Unix that would do some basic curve fitting. I have like 10-50 data points that I need to feed into it and get an equation out. Doesn't have to be toooo accurate, I took a class on numerical analysis (don't have the book or my notes anymore or I'd do this myself) so I know this should be out there. In fact I remember writing a program for the class that did a much harder problem,, if only I had saved some of that work...
