Curt Oien for Elite

as long as I have been here curt has been an upbeat positive contributing member of the AnandTech distributed computing forum dedicated to his work on the SETI@home project and lifting spirit even through the toughest times I can remember here. if I am going to vote for anyone for this bestowed honor it would be him.

Not to say anything derogetary about Curt, but I believe there are too many Elite members as it is, after all:

Elite:
The best or most skilled members in a group.

OK fair enough, in that case there are Elite's out there who dont deserve to be... However - I dont know Curt, so I cant pass judgement. I mean this generally.

Edit: I think there should be a MAX. number of Elites taken as a percentage of total active users...

I agree, Im not gonna mention any names, but certainly not member who have been banned multipule times, no matter how much they have changed should be elite IMO...
