Cursor defaults to message line in reply window

Something similar used to happen on msn.com. Since it was my home page, I'd launch it, start typing in an address and it would default to the search when the page fully loaded thus moving the cursor. I changed the homepage because that pissed me off so much.

In this forum (using IE), when I click on "reply", the reply window pops up and the cursor defaults to the message title rather than the text box. I then have to grab the mouse and click on the text box. The quick reply works but ALL of them should be user friendly.
 
You must be using threading mode.... if that is the case then it is perfectly normal as you are allowed to change alter the subject. Profile --- personal options to change your threading preference.
