1.My curser blinks whenever I have firefox opens. When I move the curser off the browser, it stops blinking. By blinking I mean disappearing and reappearing every second. Like a blinking eye.

Now im wondering if this indicates some sort of virus, or if someone has put a trojan horse on my computer.

2.I've been getting pop ups constantly. How do I get rid of them? My mozilla browser crashes every 20 minutes. This pop up called moveland comes up every hour saying my subscription to the service has ended, now I need to pay 50 bucks a month to get rid of the pop up.

I went into add or remove programs but moveland wasn't listed.

3.A port on my computer has been blocked. Im not able to download anything through Limewire or Itunes. Not exactly sure which port is used for those programs. A fellow I know told me to reformat but sadly I lost my XP disks so unless there is away to reformat without having to reinstall XP. I also have some videogames on my computer that use no-cd patches because I kept misplacing the disks and I do not want to lose them. Is there an alternative to reformating? I try to run Spybot but it crashes when its done searching for problems.

any help will be appreciated,

thank you

You have several choices.

I use Norton AntiVirus and Webroot Spysweeper together to remove trojans and malware.

Try this free scan

Your cursor will love you......

Once you've downloaded any malware remover, unpug your computer from the internet and boot in safe mode to run it the first time.
