I have DSL internet service, not cable. So this WCG200 Cable Gateway...is it useless to me? Can I disable all of it's features except the switching capability and connect it to my Linksys Wireless B router to add more interfaces for connectivity? Even better, since the Wireless G Cable Gateway emits a wireless signal, might I be able to take advantage of that?

Sorry if I am a little unclear, but i've been drinking a little on my day off from work.

Yes, you should be able to add the cable gateway as a wireless access point, and it's a good idea to upgrade from wireless-b to standard-g for the improvements in security and performance.
