Current GPU F@H PPD Numbers?

Most resources I know for F@H performance numbers haven't kept up for several GPU generations. I'm aware of this F@HBench thread https://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=24225 but even that doesn't have recent 780 Ti or R9 290X numbers.

Is anyone is folding on 290X or 780 Ti cards that can post what current 24/7 PPD numbers look like for those cards?

I had my 780Ti on F@H last December and with good case cooling it was getting around 180 ppd on core 17 p8900 WUs. Overclocking +200MHz on the shader clock I was getting 210-220 ppd. On the old core 15 WUs the ppd dropped to about 60K ppd.

Yeah, that's why I was curious as the new Core 17 seems to be getting its stride and the client is better optimized for the new cards now. It also confirms that the F@HBench numbers are no longer representative or accurate, they're reasonably accurate for Core 15 but the ~2.2x ns increase the 780 Ti has over the 480 isn't anywhere close to telling the actual 20K vs 220K difference. :p

Of course Core 17 makes the ~20,000 PPD of my 480 look like a joke :whiste: Given the "huge" gains Maxwell is supposed to offer in compute work I can't wait to see how it compares to the 780 Ti with core 17 projects, should prove to be a very nice upgrade indeed.

Another place you might look is here: Overclock.net

Nice, thanks! They have a single 290 and one 780Ti but no 290X yet. Interesting to see the numbers are not that far apart anymore.

780 (nonTI, but factory overclocked) at currently 140k ppd, but up to 170k ppd depending on the unit. 60k ppd for 660ti

What are people getting with gtx 770/680s? I seem to only be able to push 30k at 1000mhz at 1.08v no matter the drivers, and that doesn't seem right.

You are probably crunching core 15 WUs. Core 17 WUs give you much higher PPD.

I thought core 15 was better for nvidia. I've been getting 3/4 core 17 AFAICT, but I am not sure. I've heard that I can get much better ppd with 327 drivers, but I didn't see a difference. Sucks that the compute performance has been nerfed even more on GK104.
I'll take a log later. (A day or two, want a bit of a sample size)

With Nvidia cards you need to free up one CPU core to feed the GPU. If you are crunching SMP WUs with an 8 logical core Intel CPU reduce SMP 8 to SMP 7. This will make a big difference.

Also are you crunching 24/7? F@H uses the Quick return bonus for core 17 Wus so 24/7 is critical to get maximum bonus points.

Nvidia GPUs do much better than ATI cards on core 15 WUs but Core 15 on Nvidia is still much worse than Core 17 Wus.

Here's a list for ppd for some GPUs on core 17 WUs. I don't see the 770 there though.

EDIT: one more thing. Do you have the performance slider all the way to the right?

I did already have it to the right. I reinstalled anyways because it got stuck on "cleaning" after my driver crashed and now I have 43k ppd. I think it might have been 8 cores vs 7 cores. Also, this is my full ppd, not just the gpu. It has been running 24/7 with a break every 48hours for 4-6 hours.
