Current gen Carrera vs. previous gen

I for one much prefer the older one. The completely rounded headlights make it look like a 993..and I feel the 996 is ages ahead of it in terms of looks, while the rest of it looks nearly identical..

On another note, does anyone know what they'll call the Carreras once it goes into the 1000s, with the current gen being a 997?
