AMD XP 1600+ would this even help me. I don't want to go HIGH @ all in price b/c i have no job and have to save money i get mabe a week or a 2 weeks. With all the current system config.
 
it sure would, but you might as well get a 1700+ thoroughbred B core. they are pretty cheap, usually $50-55
