Current Celeron M's - just the older P-Ms?

Intel® Celeron® M Processor 370 (1.50 GHz/1MB Cache/400MHz FSB)

now this is pretty much the same spec as my t42 with a p-m @ 1.6GHz, is that what the new celeron is, just the older p-ms?

I think the cache Associativity of the Celeron M's is lower then that of a Pentium M, plus they are built on a 90nm process while the older Pentium M's were 0.13 micron. Plus the fact that a Celeron M does not have EIST technology while Pentium M's do.

Thats a Dothan based Celeron-M, it's still 90nm, the older Banias based Celeron-M's had 512k cahce. The performance of the Celeron-M is actualy pretty close to being the same as a Pentium-M at the same speed, it just doesn't have any of the power saving features.

man that sucks for battery life if they cut out the ability to throttle down...
