The labor force participation rate is the percentage of the civilian noninstitutional population who participated in the labor force by either having a job during the month or actively seeking one. And labor participation rates have nothing to do with baby boomer retirements. Its all secret muslim plot to stop America from working.

The most recent federal budget deficit (FY14) was less than half what you said ($483 billion).

As far as how long the federal government can deficit spend, if in the long run they deficit spend at or below the rate of economic growth for the country the answer is: forever.

This is true but the government almost always deficit spends MORE than the rate of growth.
