Current *best* drivers

I'm getting ready to move on from my trusty 84.21's 🙂

I've heard some good and bad about the 90-series of drivers though. So far it seems as if the 91.47's are better than the 93.71's.

What do you all think. Any good/bad experiences with either would be great.

I've been more than satisfied with the 91.31's on my 6600GT. Never bothered to update them really...

These were really nice. (XG93.71)
And the 93.71 were better then the 91.47.

Never used these (XG97.44) but it got good reviews and although there were a lot of problems for the 8800 series users, other cards didn't seem to be affected.
These would also be newer then the first one.

Why upgrade? If the drivers are running stable, upgrading to a 9x driver might get you a frame a second faster, but probably some crash issues.

To be honest, NVidia tends to continually update drivers for the newest cards, but older cards rarely get huge boosts with newer drivers... at least that's been my experience.

Having said that, I'm still using 82.12 drivers which I found to be very stable with my 6800GT in WinXP.

When I moved from the 81.98 to 90-something, neither NWN2 nor Oblivion wanted to run with the new driver. I rolled on back, and stopped with the 84.25 Beta, which had been tuned up with Oblivion in mind. Stayed there.

running the 93.71's and they are perfectly fine with my leadtek 6600GT @ 580/1.06 from 500/900.
