Current Best bang for the buck video card?

Last year i picked up a Gf4 4200 64megs for $99.

Since then, life happened and i didn't have time to play any games, till now.

Is my gf4 4200 64megs still decent for 1024x768 2xAA?

And what's the current best bang for the buck video card right now?

Depends on how much are you willing to spend. But I would think the next step ahead of the GF4 is Radeon 9500 Pro. If you are lucky you might even find a Radeon 9700 Pro for only $250.

There was an instant 40 dolla rebate on PowerColor 9700 128mb!!!! its 199 for retail right now on various sites, including newegg!!!! I wouldnt even think for a second!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
