Curious why my thread was locked

I dont understand why this was locked.

Im not discussing anything illegal here, and I dont think it was in the wrong forum, so I dont really get it....

Offhand, I'd say it was locked because it wasn't a hardware issue; such a post would more likely fit in either "Technical Support" or "Software - Applications(etc)".

In any event, either of the answers provided do address the problem. 😉
