What misconceptions did you have back when you were younger that you found out later you were completely off base on?

<--- Thought that actors and actresses had it all....till i discovered they lead the most screwed up lives
<--- Thought all women were goddesses, incapable of doing anything wrong.

(There are more, but they get more embarrassing)

I thought kids that had a ton of toys were cool, and then I learned they were just spoiled brats

I suspect that's going to come up a lot. I was the same way. Hah, god how stupid I was.

For 30 some years I didn't realise that in "This little piggy" rhyme the piggy that goes to market is going to get slaughtered.

I also had the misconception that girls were infallible creatures with hearts of gold.

I thought those little TINY spots you see in your eyes when you look into a blue sky were atoms.

When I was young, I thought that sex was something that women did as a favor or as a reward for men, and not something that they enjoyed for its own sake. Boy was I wrong!:D

Thanks for ruining me. I never ever thought of it that way. Now that rhyme is depressing.
