You don't mix i8t with anything and you don't heat up anything. Just poor it out into those super tiny cups and drink.

pure soju taste a lot like rubbing alcohol, not very good, but you can mix it with yogurt drinks and it taste a whole lot better, i think sojo is about 20% or so

You take it out of the fridge and down it one shot at a time from a shot glass. Of course, if you don't have a shot glass, you can be like my friends and just use a beer glass, but its definetly not recomended. The stuff is quite strong, usually 20% to 25%, and honestly, smells (and tastes, I'd imagine) exactly like rubbing alcohol. Not very pleasant, but hey, at least it has more "zip" to it than beer.

And how do I know all this? My Korean friends drink this stuff like water so when I'm with them they always choose soju. And to Croton, alcoholic koolaid? Yummy alcoholic koolaid? You must have had a bit too much to remember it as that :D

My friend went to korea when I was in high school (so was he) and brought back juice drink boxes of soju...thats probably my first soju experience. The stuff is CHEAP and tastes like rubbing alcohol (no i dont know what rubbing alcohol tastes like, it'll make you go blind silly!). Yeah, you mix it with different flavors...common flavors are ...strawberry, melon, etc.... plus it gives you the biggest headache and hangover the next day...do yourself a favor and pass on SOJU!

Its best when mixed in a sugar drink, kool-aid, Orange juice, grape juice... Room temp or lightly chilled is the best. Once you mix it like that its very difficult to taste the soju. Soju had a bad side effect of making guys fight, they felt bullet proof, lots of fights in korea after guys drank soju.

Did a tour in korea 91-92, they even have t-shirts that describe the 7 phases of soju. Perhaps someone else remembers the slogan, i can only remember 3 of them, i'll let someone else list them all.

In korea they also have a rice wine, looks like milk...that stuff gets girls soooo horney its awesome. Never saw anyone fight after drinking that milky wine, mostly it made people laugh alot and get frisky.

I think the green bottle soju is about 15%, smells like rubbing alcohol, tastes pretty bad, but it doesnt burn. Goes down pretty easy. There are also the fruity sojus that taste like juice.

That's interesting b/c just the other night I was thinking about all the Japanese beers and plum wine and sake you can get at Japanese restaurants. I was eyeing up my local Korean joint and wondering if there was some kind of indigenous Korean booze that they should be selling!
Sake tastes a lot like rubbing alcohol too. It's yummy.

Lemon flavor Soju is very good. It's smooth unlike the original one.
BTW, you can mix it up with Coke, Beer, and any other soft drinks, but be careful that it'll get you messed up very very quick.
In Korea, Mixing soju with whiskey is very popular, and it's called the "Bomb Drink" due to its strong effect.

When I was in Korea, me and my friends used to mix it with Country Time lemonade. That was the best thing to do with the stuff. Had many "ammo" bowls over there too. Not too sure what was in those other than kool-aid and ice.

1. Poor into glass.
2. Take glass into hand.
3. Lift glass to facial region.
4. Open mouth.
5. Try to pour at least part of the liquid into the opening.
6. Try again, but this time use your mouth as opening at 5 rather than your ear.
