Curious as to whether a mini ATX case can work with a Micro ATX MOBO

I have a Micro ATX board and am still searching for a case, but this mini antec case says ATX, not Micro ATX.

Would a Micro ATX MOBO still hinge with a case like this? And if not, what is a decent case with PSU for around the same that IS compatible with a micro atx case? It's a Sempron CPU with intergreted video for basic computer functions. (Nothing that runs extremely hot) so I doubt excellent air flow is of top priority.

Micro ATX motherboards fit inside of ATX towers. They are just have size of an ATX board. So, they go right inside. The case is marketed as a Mini ATX(which really makes no sense), but not limited to ATX (12x9.6) specified motherboards. You didn't say how what your budget was for this alternative chassis? Aspire X-Qpack/Chenming 118 would be recommended by me.

That case will take both standard ATX and microATX mobos. Antec calls it "mini" because it can't take the ordinary quota of 4x5" drives. It's only about an inch or so smaller than an average mid tower ATX case. Most all ATX cases will take both size mobos.

yea that case will work fine for you if you do not want to take advantage of the fact that you have a small mobo and want to go with one of the popular cube case's that are the common rage lately..

I went with Antec because if I went with any other case people would tell me to get a different psu. (and I want as good a case/psu combo for the least amount of money as possible. My only real worry was that the holes for the screws for regular ATX cases would not match for a MicroATX MOBO. If there are smaller cases that are still of decent quality for the price please suggest some.

Thanks in advance
