I used to do that, until lots of people started bothering me about why I was wearing my watch on the side that a girl wears her watch. Mind you, this was while I was in my early teens, so it was okay, so I finally had to switch over to wearing my watch on the left. If the watch is uncomfortable while writing, I just take it off. At home I keep it off, because of the amount of time I spend on the computer, because no matter which hand I'll where it on, it'll scratch against the casing of my laptop.
