Right handed and wear watch on right, but only wear watch while out and about. At home/work the watch is usually removed.

The main reason people wear watch on opposite hand is b/c watches can get in way while writing, using tools etc...

I used to do that, until lots of people started bothering me about why I was wearing my watch on the side that a girl wears her watch. Mind you, this was while I was in my early teens, so it was okay, so I finally had to switch over to wearing my watch on the left. If the watch is uncomfortable while writing, I just take it off. At home I keep it off, because of the amount of time I spend on the computer, because no matter which hand I'll where it on, it'll scratch against the casing of my laptop.

It's nice to have my dominant hand free. I find I'll hit it against things more often too just because I'm flailing my right arm around more.

I always take my watch off the minute I get home and sit down in front of my desk. Can't use a computer with the watch. Moreoever, I only wear watches for formal events.. well I wear it from time to time on a daily basis, but maybe around half of the time only.

I thought it was because it hurts like hell to catch your foreskin on the twist-o-flex.
