Do you find it a bit mysterious as to how those hijackers managed to fly those planes right to their target area in New York City? I know some details but not the whole story.

They have had to be pretty good at navigating even if that meant following the Hudon river. Both those planes hit their intended target. That is a bit mysterious to me. Those planes were flying at fast speeds yet they hit the buildings like that. One plane even turned sideways for more impact.

I'm just sharing some thoughts I had.

are you a pilot? what makes you think it would be hard? the pilots hit the runway everytime they land, the profile of a runway isn't much wider than a building

you are thinking too hard or susceptible to brainwashing

get some tinfoil, it really really really really helps

Instead of going through another long thread, do a search in this forum and read what has been debated already. Also, do a google search for Loose Change and watch that movie.

No, not a pilot. I'm just assuming it would be a bit difficult for non-professionals flying a big airliner at relatively high speeds that close to the ground in a city. The hijackers must have had some talent. As for thinking too hard about this, not really. It just popped into my head a few minutes ago. As for brainwashing ... lets stop the assumptions right there.

I'm not one who is into the conspiracy theories, although they do make things more interesting.

at the altitude they were, the entire ground would be indistinguishable. it would not have been possible to navigate at 500mph+? using the landscape.

Yeah, I'm going to go with the Opus Dei theory as well. Sinead O'Connor was right, the Pope is the real enemy.

since you fail at searching even after being told so, I have a challenge for you. Get proficient at X-Plane, take a 2 hour cockpit instruments run through, and then hop on a simulator. I have a feeling you'll be able to fly into whatever you want.

I wouldn't call it mysterious... I would call it frightening.

Yeah man.. those guys had been planning this thing for years... and they did it with some insidious commitment... kinda makes you queasy when you think, there's got to be more plots out there, where are they in their planning phases? when will they strike...

Very scary especially when you live in a place like DC.

You do realize that some people are tired and not always eager to search? Yes, bad excuse. Give me time and I'll do that. I have read up a little bit on 9/11 a few years ago. Just posted this to get some ideas and opinions, not to stir up flamebating discussions.

Actually, no, Opus Dei would make more sense. The Illuminati were against Religion, the US had nothing to do with religion. ;)

all i have to say to that is "in god we trust"

as to the OP, all i can say is some people go to desperate measures to detain certain people

Which is completely out of place. But whatever.

I am a (private) pilot and I can tell you that finding the biggest pair of buidlings in NYC and crashing them into them would be a piece of cake - probably take about 5 hours training.

I was solo'ed at 18 hours of instruction. Airborne flight principles are the same between a 152 or a 757,
