Cure for HORRENDOUS Kitty Gas?

I dunno how many other people have this problem with their cats, but my kitty has the WORST gas ive ever smelled im my life. Everytime Simba farts we clear the room, its too noxious to even sit in the same room when he lets it rip. Ive been brought to tears before because of the smell. Any before you say anything, NO its not me...

Anyone know how to cure this? Hes been doing it for about 2 weeks...
I havent changed his food or anything else and besides the rancid tooting, he dosent seem to be sick....

Even if you haven't changed the food, I would still think that is the problem.

feed him Science Diet. or buy a bunch of incense.

hahaha.. even incense wont clear up the odor for a little bit... potpourri just makes it smell worse...

As for the food, he (and his sister) are on Petsmart's Brand... I think its called Authority

Definitely don't ever feed a cat milk, and try feeding a higher quality food, such as Iams or Science Diet, as opposed to Purina Cat Chow.

My kitten only eats Iams kitten formula dry food. She never has gas and she?s only vomited once ever. My step dad?s cats ate Purina and they would vomit all the time and pass gas pretty often.

Sometimes intestinal worms can cause noxious gas in a kitty cat. Might want to get that checked out.

just because you haven't changed the cat's food doesn't mean the cat food company hasn't changed/altered the ingredients...
just a possibility.

Just seconding what Azrael said,

take the cat to the vet for a checkup.

When I adopted my cat she too had worms (and fleas, a respiratory infection -- a real piece of work, lol)

She had gas and once she got rid of the worms, the gas went too.

As to why I picked this sick, pretty pathetic looking cat to adopt: she fell asleep in my arm as I was checking her out.
