See, unfortunately, the medical establishment is a business like any other business. And business needs customers. And, they want to sell you their most expensive item which is unnecessary surgery....You see, it's in the best interest of the medical profession that you remain sick. You see, that insures good business. You're not a patient. You're a customer.

the monopolistic hold on the medical industry by private corporations wont let a cure be found tho, whens the last time you heard of something cured?. medicine is where the moneys at, not a cure, just letting you live with it, and making sure you have to pay somebody to live.

i doubt aids was actually 'made' but you never know(trying not to offend you here). and theres no reason for anybody to make it unless they were insane.

honestly we are at the cusp of civilation. making it out of not nuking the planet to death was a babystep. there are giant obsticales still to be over come.

This is such a crackpot post. Many HIV labs/research are government or academic funded. They have no interest in withholding a cure/vaccine.

Yea just like when the dentist tells you you need to brush better or do more work on your teeth...he doesn't really mean it. If everyone brushed their teeth and flossed properly there would be no need for a dentists? 😉

There are drugs around that can help minimize the chance of infection, if administered immediately after exposure, but the success rate is hardly high enough to be giving intentional demonstrations.

Way to quote Seinfeld exactly.

some people are immune to HIV, very few in Africa, but in northern Europe it´s 10-15 % of the population.

Lets see some journal articles backing that up.

I don't have any articles handy, but there are a few places where prostitutes are documented as HIV-free despite the statistical near-impossibility that they have not been exposed. My recollection is that it was more like 5% of the hookers, with an exposure rate probably over 99%, given the prvalence of HIV in the region.

I thought it was a rogue mutated protein in less than 1% of Caucasians.

Pure BS. We had no technology in the 60s or 70s to engineer such a virus. Also, there is no cure for AIDS. I suggest you read up on biological engineering if you're going to accept theories pertaining to it. Ignorance is what drives a lot of this stuff.

It's possible that some people have a protein mutated which HIV can't recognize, and more likely that it's in a single population. I haven't read about that, though.
