Curb your Enthusiasm

I hope not...I thought there were 2 shows left? I must have lost count.

Its my favorite show on television.

i know tonight was the season finale, but i have no idea if the series is done. i love that show

yeah, maybe hbo doesnt know if its coming back yet. they constantly throw out phrases like "season" and "series" finale...but i think it might be a british thing to call a season a series...so maybe that was just for some of their BBC shows.

British use "series" for "season." Neither Larry David nor HBO has stated if there will be another season of Curb. Both the ratings (empirically) and the quality (according to most fans) were down this season, so we'll see what happens. The previous hiatus was ~18 months, so we may not hear anything for a bit.

A bad Curb episode is still one million times better than most of the
other drek on tv.

Extras was excellent too! go HBO

Cant argue with that one.

My favorite episode this season was the one with the sex offender...what was your guys'?

The Hugh Hefner , jacket episode was the worst ...cant put my finger on it but it was just way over done.

i didnt see season 4 and while i didnt enjoy this season as much as 1-3, i noticed a longer and depedent "story-arc" for the whole season, which i dont think fits the style as well.
call-backs to earlier episodes seem to work great (end of this most recent episode for example) but the on-going major plot points sustained from episode to episode (richard lewis and the PI as two examples) seem to drag it down a little...they demand constant exposition to attempt to make the show stand on its own.
personally, i like shows in that fashion and series' like The Office and Faulty Towers proved it could work well in the sitcom genre but the two other shows mentioned went full-out in making the story chronological and didnt try to make it very independent.

i laughed my arse off at the end of the Smoking Jacket episode... where you see
Larry and his buddy throwing the "used" bed in to a dumpster!

When is Deadwood coming back???

I dont see why people are saying this season's quality was bad.. I thought some of my favorite episodes ever came from this season.

I missed it tonight but one of my friends said that it wasn't so great. I will have to watch it tomorrow when it comes on demand.

I agree this season was down. I think the first half of this season sucked, and the second half was great...... but, like everyone else has said, a bad curb is much better than any "everybody loves raymond"

Dont get me wrong , the humor was there..in full force but the excecution of the stories and punch lines that the show carries were lame.

The humor and story ideas were great .

The season end show last night was hillarious, Dustin Hoffman's cameo role was great. 🙂

Couldn't have said it better myself.. this season had no legitament plot, just situations here and there. I thought this season finished strong with the Sex Offender, Sader, and the Ski Lift.. but seaons 3 and 4 were better because of the story.

Overall I didn't think the 'quality' was down though, this is my favorite show on television and I almost crapped myself thinking he would really stay dead and this would be the last season.
