Is by far the funniest show ever. Just finished watching a few DVD's and haven't laughed this hard in years. This show is pure genius, especially the way they build up Larry David to fail at the worst possible moments 🙂

The one where he picked up the prostitute to drive in the express/carpool lane and smoked out his 80 year old dad..

And the nativity episode where he had a pubic hair stuck in his throat the entire episode 😀

i don't remember that prostitue episode, that's 3rd season right?

as for the nativity episode, boy , mary is hot!
 
I thought it was hilarious when I first saw it too. It kind of lost it's appeal after awhile. Too bad too, it was hilarious.
 
i think it is kinda boring with a few hilarious moments in an episode, but i wouldn't mind them putting more fast paced humor like arrested development in it

larry david was getting it on with a hot chick until he saw a picture of the woman with 'george bush' and he lost all interest.

his friend says " are you kiding! with a hot chick like that, I'd still do her if she's wearing a george bush mask".

Just about everyone I know who has seen this show also thinks it's the greatest show on TV. I'm surprised this thread died so fast. Perhaps the majority of the ATOT community doesn't have HBO?

Hah, don't I feel stupid ignoring this show for so long. I just watched season 4 out of the blue for the past two days and I LOVED it! The last epsiode in this season had me ROLLING when Larry forgot his lines in the end and started making crap up. Then they showed the dude who cursed him make a little "told ya so" face and I just kept laughing about for a good minute about it! So yeah, I'm off to grab some more CYE seasons now. It's seriously just a TV-MA version of Seinfeld, and since I love that show too I'm kicking myself thinking I wouldn't find Larry David funny. Oh well, no time like the present. 😛 :thumbsup:
 
It's true. It is the greatest comedy on TV (Arrested Development is great on DVD, without the edits).

I wish they would update their HBO site more though.
