Cup of Noodles alternatives?

I love cup of noodles, but when you analyze what kind of nutrition you're getting out of them, it's really not much. But I would like to buy something in bulk I can keep in my office and just add hot water. I don't like those microwaveable soups in a can.

Any suggestions? Is there such a thing as a healthy Cup of Noodles?

I've seen lentil soup cups at the grocery store -- just add water. It's almost guaranteed to have lots of sodium and not everyone likes lentils...

Dehydrated and preserved stuff isn't necessarily healthy - so, there isn't that healthy of an alternative. Try going to your local Health Foods store (e.g., Whole Foods market here in California) and see what they have. It'll cost you more, though.

Ramen is really good for you. Especially when you are having a hard time finding a salt lick...
