After 3 semesters of High School out of 8(4 years) I have a 2.5(I know it's low) what will I have to get the last semester of the school year to get it up to a 2.7-3.0?

AT is helpful in a general way, or with specific questions that can be responded to in a paragraph or two.

AT is not interested in doing fscking basic math for you. Find out what an A is worth grade point wise and start adding that amount (say 4.00) to your overall GPA, and keep dividing your cumulative grade points by the course weights (usually just the # of courses taken).

Here's a guide to calculating your Grade Point Average.

Example: Say you've taken 8 courses to date, each with a course weight of 1.0. You got 3.0 grade points (a B) in five courses and 2.0 grade points (a C) in three courses. Multiple the grade points (example: 3.0) by the weight of each course (usually 1.0 unless it's a half-course worth 0.5). So we have:

3.0 x 5 = 15.00 grade points
2.0 x 3 = 6.00 grade points
= 21.00 grade points total

Then divide the amount of grade points you received by the total course weight (1.0 x 8 = 8.0) and you've got your cumulative GPA:

21.00 / 8.0 = 2.625 GPA

Seriously, come on man. You came to a forum where the average poster is (probably) of above average intelligence and below average maturity and asked a question any grade schooler could answer. What do you expect?
