Cultural Imperialism?

Shawn

Has anyone taken a course in Cultural Imperialism? It satisifies a humanities credit and a writing credit. Anyone know if this is an easy course or not? I still can't figure what it's about. 😕

It's about the oppressive and socially bancrupt West imposing its cultural values onto other nations who lack the economic power to stop the disease's spread.

Here is the course description:
Analysis of significant works of literature and other arts created in dominant "imperial" cultures, focusing on theme relating to colonal subjugation and analyzed from the perspective of both the imperial culture and the subject colony.
😕

It's about how Evil Whitey (Arabs, Greeks, Romans, etc.) impose their poisonous and evil culture on the other more noble peoples of the world.

Curse you concept of zero! Damn you to Hell Homer! (both of them.) The scientific method is just one of many possible way of understanding reality, no more valid than shamanism.

Can you bite your tongue for several hours a week? Then sign right up.
