Yeah, it's been asked before, but here's the deal. I'm fed up with my CUBX. The onboard CMD controller causes nothing but problems. Plus lack of FSB settings for o/cing. And bad floppy connection placement. Otherwise, I nice board. Stable as hell.

The question is, do I RMA it and replace it with the Abit, or am I just going to run into similar problems with the BX133RAID? I've found posts about issues with both boards, but you'll find that with any board. The question is, which one has less issues? Anyone got any advice? Thanks! = )

Wait for the CUBX-E coming very soon. Has a Promise ATA100 controller instead of the CMD controller. You can also try the new driver for the CMD controller that supposedly fixes many problems that came out just these few days.

The new CMD controller drivers didn't help at all...they fixed the bug where it doesn't detect the proper IDE mode, but CDR software STILL loads super slow, sometimes locks up completely...useless...

BX133 RAID is lookin' pretty sweet...
