anyone out there know the CUBX can run a PIII 933 (133 fsb) or 1gb (133 fsb)? This is not a question about overclocking just want to know if the CUBX can handle PIII's of these speeds.

Thanks

The CUBX is based on intel's BX chipset which only runs up to 100mhz native. A friend of mine who has the board can't run it at 133mhz without overclocking the CPU by 33% as well.
Your best bet would probably be an Apollo Pro 133 board (Asus CUV4X) or an i815 board (Asus CUSL2).

I'm typing this on a system running a CUBX with a P3 700e running at 933mhz, FSB = 133mhz. The only problem with running this board at 133mhz FSB is that the AGP bus has to run at 89mhz instead of the proper 66mhz standard. The PCI bus runs at a proper 33mhz at 133mhz FSB due to the 1/4 divider. I have ran both a Radeon and Geforce video card and have had no problems at all. Just make sure your video card is OK with the high bus speed and you should not have any problems.
