It's the Sports Illustrated curse! Prior and Wood were on the cover of Sports Illustrated when the season began representing the Cubs as the favorites to win. I don't think any team that's been on the cover of SI at the beginning of the season won the World Series.

There's always next year.

As a Braves fan, it was nice to see the Braves get revenge from last year & knock out the Cubs... hopefully Chipper isn't injured too bad.
