The Cubs have better numbers except for one very important one, innings pitches. Cubs 739 vs Sox 781.2 The Sox are getting more innings out of their starters which is way more important then most of the other numbers. Quickest way to lose a game is to over work the bullpen. Also, the Sox had a horrible first half of the season. I would love to see the numbers since the all-star break. They have turned it up a notch.

 
Couldn't have said it any better! Also, Konerko is another reason the Sox have been awesome second half. Also Thomas has been great. And KW making those trades was a great move. We have a Good Bullpen in-Tom Gordon, Damaso Marte, Kelly Wunsch,Scott Schoeneweis, and Scott Sullivan.

The Cubs do have a better atmosphere for games. The new Sox park sucks. It was one of the first to be built in a long time and most of the parks built after it learned from the mistakes made at the new Comisky. I wish they would tear it down and build another one.

And management knows that the stadium needs improvements and THEY Are making them. Nose Blood seats are not gonna exist in a couple yrs. at Comiskey .

considering i'm not a fan of either team, nor do i bear any particular hatred to either team, if i were to pick one to go see play it would be the cubs. why? because a day game at wrigley is like a poem. a game at new comiskey or new sellout park is like one at 3 rivers or riverside or the vet, all of which are done for.
