Cube Etiquette - QUIT FARTING!!

OMIGAWD...

My cube neighbor just let out the LOUDEST fart. It's just crazy. Usually I'll hear a poot everyone once in a while but he just really went overboard now. I mean it was a butt cheek rattling, chair lifting one.

Just out of curiousity so that I don't think I'm the only one who notices, but what idiosyncrasy do you hate about your cubemate/neighbor?

I have an office with a door, so thankfully most of those don't bother me. The one thing that does is a co-worker outside my office who insists on cranking up the volume on her computer, so you ever every single noise her AOL IM windows make when they get and receive messages. UGH.

Ah, I can so relate. My cube neighbour not only farts, but he feels the need to get up and walk away after - I guess he doesn't like his own flavour? - and it essentially wraps me in fart. Picture warcrow's green cloud being wrapped around my cubicle. Other than that, he's cool.

I have to say I am guilty of the cell phone. I know I have the coolest ringtone of all time, the Pole Position startup music and Peanut Butter Jelly Time by the Buckwheat Boys, but I know not everyone can appreciate such music.

I have an office... NO CUBE FARTS FOR ME!

Although on a more embarrassing level, I have lowered a couple of booms in my office and in a turn of cruel fate the hot secretary would come travelling in just afterward. Though she has never said anything, I know she knows because I am nearly turning green and passing out.

Oh well.

I don't like it when they heat up their good-smelling food and eat it right there in their cube. They are not so busy that they can't go to the cafeteria, but now I have to sit and smell that and get all hungry when I can't have any!

Wouldn't that be more of a hex than a curse? Anyway, lighten up they are just being nice. Look at it more of a social politeness rather than a personal assault in a never ending quest to steal your soul and FedEx it to the nearest diety.

I'm in an office with a door, so it's not an issue to me.

I do like to go visit my coworker's who do have cubes, though. I like to sit in their cube and have a conversation. Just before I leave I release a SBD fart.
