CTRL+ALT+DEL in XP Pro

Argh. Something I installed in the software for my new P5W DH has caused Windows XP to act differently. It is minor, but it annoys me.

CTRL+ALT+DEL used to bring me straight to task manager. Now it brings me to a screen with 6 options: lock computer, log off, shut down, change password, task manager, cancel. The startup and shutdown process appear slightly different too. This is all more similar to the PC I use at work which I have to log onto with my work user account.

How do I change it back?

It's due to the Fast User Switching and Welcome Screen options. I don't recall whether it's one or both of those that affect this behavior. But I know if they're both turned off, then you get Win2000-style behavior you're seeing. Try playing around with those settings to find something you like.
