Hello everyone.

After I recently installed the newest NVIDIA drivers I now hang up after boot-up, due to above .exe

Specs

Windows XP Home
AMD XP 2000
512 PC21000 DDR Sdram
NVidia TI 4400 128MB Video Card
Creative Audigy X-Gamer

It seems after my system boots up fast it hangs and I hit Alt/Cntrl/Del to bring up taskbar and the process of CTEaxSple.exe is taking 99 % of my CPU. The only way I can solve it is if I end process.

Has anyone else expierence this with Creatve and NVIDIA or XP? Anmy thoughts.

I also disabled my Splash screen during bootup (Creative), it is sometimes there (Lock up) and others times fine

Any thoughts?

Check in your services to see if CTEaxSple.exe is listed , if it is and it is set to "automatic" then set it to manual and reboot to check if it has stopped the service at startup.

You might also want to check what other programs are running at startup , my personal preference is Start Cop and disable those applications you don't need .

Thank you for your response. I looked at the services and it is not listed. However, the last two times I booted up it has not appeared or hanppend. Very wierf since it locked me up 80% of the time. I did load up the splashscreen manually through programs, creative etc and again set it not to appear on bootup. This also might have fixed the problem.

I am going to load Start cop next and see what else I do not need on startup.

I heard one does not need Miniport drive right?
