Cstrike's FPS is always at 71, how do i let it run freely?

ATI 9600 pro with the latest omega drivers. I have the res at 1024x768 with the refresh rate at 85hz

If I'm not mistaken its caped at 71 so that it doesn't eat up more than the necessary resources. besides the human eyes can not distinguish beyond 50 fps...

ur eyes can't catch more than ur monitor allows ;) so for those hardcore gamers like me, we use 120htz
that allows ~100fps and think about it...ur eye is only 127fps

Cap it at your monitor's refresh rate, and disable vsync if you want consistently higher fps at the expense of some image tearing.
