Okay so I've been using the same cable internet provider for about the past 2 months now and I've run into a problem. Every Counterstrike: Source server I enter, I get a ping of AT LEAST 110. I know that's not REALLY high but it's always been around 50-60 and that's what I'm used to.
My download speeds are exactly the same (350k - 375k) and I haven't experienced any network difficulties. I've also scanned my PC for spyware/adware, virus', and nothing. The only thing I can think of is that my parents PC upstairs (which is constantly on) has some sort of virus or adware that's constantly running in the background. Any thoughts?
