I got this "free" game yesterday and I have to say it's pretty nifty. Of course, if you're willing to part with a lot of USD you can crank through upgrades of cars and things, but it is perfectly playable without any of that. The makers of the game licensed from some major brands (Audi, ford, chevy, bmw, nissan), so the cars you race and upgrade are real cars. Given that each race--a drag race--is simply pressing of one or two spots on the screen I suspect this would work well on the iphone, too.

I imagine I'll get bored with this, but so far after two hours I'm not.
 
It's good to a point. After you get through the first level you have to spend money. You won't have enough $ or coins to get the next level of car. I deleted it after that. This new free to game but have to spend money to play it crap is getting old. I'm fine with paying for a game, I've done it for many. But I'm not spending money to keep playing a game. Screw that.

I normally don't fall for that, but in this case I paid a few bucks. I'm mid way through tier 5 (the last one). You can buy everything with only "cash", and if you're ok grinding out cash on the drag races to the side, where you can choose difficulty--and run them an unlimited number of times--you can save up all the money you need. The only frustration then is you'll run out of gas. If you don't want to wait an hour for the tank to refill, spend a small bit of real $ on the gold coins and only use gold coins to buy gas, then you can make it through the entire game for several dollars without even waiting for gas. If you're ok to wait, you could still get through it without paying a penny.
 
There is a fairly easy way money hack out there for this game. Jailbreaking not needed. It will take away some of the fun though.
 
Its not to bad, only on the first tier still with my first car. Not sure how long i should keep upgrading it vs saving for a new car.

Each car, you can tell in the garage, has a specific tier. Therefore if you buy a mustang now for example it will not work in tier1. Also stupidly you cannot use a Tier1 car in tier2 or tier 3 in 4, not even for any amount of time.

I finished tier 5 now and the game is over. I could keep playing to save cash, but as there are no more tiers or anything I'm kind of out of things to do. I have a car that will do 8.04 1/4 mile.
 
Ya i learned that the hard way, i bought a Zr1 for 50 gold, dropped 5 bucks thinking that it would make the start of the game easier, and its a t3 car that i can't use yet lmao.

Its pretty fun so far though, almost done with t1.
 
This game has the most annoying in application purchase system ever! It basically nags you to purchase cars that it knows you can't afford during the entire game, just so you pony up some hard cash to get your next level ride quicker.
 
I wish I could talk to the guys who posted here...and to many of the folks who post their opinion about this game on google play. But alas, it's no chatting there, just hating or loving or asking silly questions. The game is great (especially if you are a masochist) and you can enjoy most (like 99.99 percent) of it without paying any. You don't even need to be extraordinarily patient. Playing it with a 1GB RAM helps a lot.
 
have to check it out tonight. My PC have 4gb ram, so that would be more than enough to carry and feel the game. If I want to buy or pay for anything, I get scares if I'm not connected to my vpn 😛 . So mainly play offline 🙂
