Seems like it would be interesting if you're a fan of the show. I think it would be neat to use some of the cool forensic lab equipment.

I wonder if they actually put some thought into this game, or if it's just another attempt to capitalize off of promotional products. Anybody played it yet?

OMG I want it so bad. I love that show. I refuse to be beothered when it's on. That and without a trace. Helps I am a bio person, and I knwo the stuff they are doing is pretty darn close to the real thing.

A lot of the forensic lab equiptment isn't uncommon in normal chemistry labs. We had an FTIR (the one we had wasn't as cool as the one on CSI, however we were supposed to get a brand new one in january, I'll get to see it in may when I go back) at my intership. It was pretty neat to use it, but the show does make it look a lot cooler then it actually is.

A couple weeks ago (the episode where the lady drove through the coffee shop window), the lab tech made the comment "Do you think that hovering over me will make hte FTIR work faster?", which is hilarious, because it's not uncommon to hear that from the FTIR tech at my job 😀

Looks like the game has potential. I see they released the first season on DVD, I might have to pick it up, I didn't get into the show until the second season.
