cs v1.3 put bunnyhopping back? discussion

With the release of v1.3 there has been many bug fixes and new additions, but the one that catches most peoples eyes is the removal of the bunny hopping bug.

Since its release I've noticed a sharp increase of people who buy sniper rifles, notably the awp.

before, ppl would be able to dodge these awp users by bunny hopping, for example at dust in the lower tunnel, there are 2 main places where an awp user could camp. 1: near the ct spawn looking down into the tunnel, 2: near the t spawn looking down from the very top of the downward sloping hill. Before you could bunny hop down the hill to avoid the camping awpers, but now you can't. This is not for just dust, this applies to all maps with long stretches of nearly empty land.

2nd example: awp map: at this map a bunny hopper could bunny hop to the other side of the field then bust out his gun and kill all the awpers. Now everyone has to use an awp cause no one is gonna try to run into no man's land, which is boring.

bunny hopping added a element into the game that divided newbies from pros, and added a variable into the game where everything is not static. Such as running... I mean in the real world some people are gonna get to the bsite faster than others, its all calculated now... and that isn't as fun.

Tell me what you think...

Also: does anyone know a good link to the max payne matrix demo cause I wanna see it... its such a good demo that everyone should see it too, so someone please be nice and link us up.

That's what flash/smoke grenades are for, and as T's you can own the CT awper with the AK every time. With CTs as well, you only have to make him miss once(or have one of your teammates sacrifice himself, hehe:))

Well... it is called awp map

Yeah use smoke/flash grenades to distract them and then go for the kill. The only thing that annoys me about 1.3 is when everyone tries to voice talk at once and it gets distracting. Everyone sounds like a dork too. :(

I agree about the smoke grenades but not the sacrafice... because it'll suck if your the one being sacraficed... and second, yeah its called an awp map but if your a good awper you had to worry about bunny hoppers getting to you... now its just static and massive awp ownage will dominate the game.

The awp is already too powerful, and my complaint is that this will add to its powers .... agreed?
