CS:S updates

im updating the cs:s that came with hl2 and i am on dial-up with 1402 minutes left, is there a place where i can get this file so that my dad can download it where he works and put it on a cd.

Play regular cs on dial up. You have no hope of enjoying cs:s. everyone has broadband.

yeah, unlike the unhelpful replies above, this might help some. Your dad would have to install steam with your account. Then he just needs to download cs:s. Once that is done, then he goes to the play games and right click on cs:s and select backup..Can choose cd or dvd backup.

my mistake, i was told that cs:s had a single player mode, but if it doesnt then no, i wont bother.

You can run your own client server and then just add bots.... Thats about as single player as it gets.
